Good day, and welcome to Bus Stop - a small talk message board. Registration is not required and each post remains on the site for only a day, after which, it disappears.

If you find this place empty, it doesn't necessarily mean that it's completely abandoned. Feel free to make a post to start a discussion, perhaps someone will see it and reply!

Bus Stop is intended to be a stress free environment for talking with strangers. Try to keep a relaxed demeanor when posting, please don't say anything that might ruin the other person's day.
I hope we meet again.

Bus Stop uses an extended version of WakabaMark markup code for post formatting.
The basic features are as follows:
  • Surround text with * or _ to make it italic. _Like this_ or *like this*.
  • Surround text with ** or __ to make it bold.
  • Surround text with %% to make a spoiler
  • Make an unordered HTML list by beginning each line with *, or -. You can add line breaks in list entries by breaking the line and indenting the next line with one or more spaces.
  • Make ordered HTML lists by beginning the first line with "1."
  • Make quote sections by beginning each line with ">". Highlighting text and then clicking the post number will quote the selected text.
  • Make code sections by indenting each line by four spaces or one tab. Code sections get shown in a monospaced font, and are not otherwise formatted.
  • Make external links by just typing the URL you want to link to. Post references like >>0 can be created by clicking the post's number and are automatically turned into links. You can link posts from other boards like this >>>/test/#0. The first youtube link in the post gets embedded, unless the post has a file attachment.
If you want to make a large post with complex formatting you can test if everything looks right here.

Please fill in the subject field with a clearly defined topic when appropriate. This not only enables browsing the site like a regular message board by filtering posts with the same subject but also serves another purpose. Subjects have a longer lifespan than posts; this means that even when a subject's thread is empty, it remains in the list for several days since the last post. In the event that this board is empty, it should help a new user or someone who hasn't visited the site for a long time understand what kind of things were being discussed recently.
The board's look can be customized from the options menu, which is accessible by clicking [+] in the bottom right corner of the sidebar. Available options are as follows:
  • [theme]: switches the visual style of the site.
  • [Mona]: enables the Mona font. If your browser has problems with rendering it, turn it off to use a system font.
  • [⟳]: enables auto reloading of the page each 90 seconds.
  • [?]: controls visibility of the info post.
Options are stored in your browser's cookies, be sure to enable them, if you want to save your settings.

Bus Stop is also available through this URL vip.bus-stop.net
This is the JavaScript-free mirror of the site, so if you like, you can use it to browse the scriptless version of Bus Stop without disabling JavaScript in your browser.
Please note, that you need to solve a captcha to make posts with disabled JavaScript.

User submitted themes are placed on different subdomains as well:

Why don’t you go to them and tell them that you are sorry for hurting them, and you actually love them and they are very important for you. Maybe you can be accountable and say that I will take care of myself and will learn why I behave like that so that I won’t hurt you again. I am sure they will understand.

You already know the problem and you have the solution. If it’s not work this time, it will be a practice for you to make it work next time.

Sigh... I dropped so many classes this semester I'm officially a part time student. 1 class I had to drop because I didn't notice the mid-term was due 5pm & the other was so hard half the class dropped it. Part time status doesn't affect my aid or internships. The only difference is I need to take 2 classes, technically 1 since one class is an internship credit, this summer. I haven't told my parents yet, even though I live with them, because I know they'll be furious. I'm still graduating a semester early, but all they'll focus on is how I fucked up this semester.
I'm not mad at the class thing specifically, I know that's my fault, but it hurts because no matter what I do it's never good enough. Like I got an internship at a pretty prestigious company and all they said was I hope you can find a position that pays better. Or when I said my GPA was 3.5, a stem degree too, and he said "oh its nothing to brag about then".
And he gets pissy when I make real and concrete plans to move out. Why cant he ever say anything kind

Ended up talking through it and everything turned out alright, just another classic example of me worrying myself to death over nothing.

I really want to tell my love my biggest secret, but I can't for fear that he will judge me. It is not some easy thing to accept, but I cannot meet him for the first time until he knows about it
