My girlfriend just broke up with me :( I had known her for the last 3 years and we dated for the last year. It was just her birthday the other day and we had such a good time. I know I can move on but I don't have anything going on for me at the moment, and that makes me feel a lot worse than anything else. Feels like everything has gone wrong so quickly.

Everything is calm tonight.
I can hear the rain playing on the roof, this have been going on the whole day.
It's that and the calm cafe jazz from the living room.

It's not a bad place to be, here by the river in southern Norrland.
Tonight I don't want to read, I don't feel like writing much either, no movies or youtube, no hobbies.. just calm and nothing.
I'm just thinking and existing, time rolls by.

Calm and nothing... After all, that is where I ended up; this is the moment everything lead to.
All those years...

Where are you tonight?

i’m too online to have much success making irl friends. i’m not online enough to stomach the terminally online discord / reddit crowds.

I'm borderline chronically online but I just prefer places that are easier to manage.

Terminally online discord crowds are just not worth it, there's barely any point in looking for anything within spaces designed for terminally online offtopic noise.

Why did you value your relationship with your (past) GF ?
It sounds like a rough question, but please answer with honesty.

I valued how close I was with her. I am not a very emotional person, and I struggle with relationships, but I felt that I could be a bit more open with her than anyone else. We were (are?) friends for a long time and I felt comfortable with her, I valued her friendship a lot. Around her it felt like nothing else mattered and everything would be fine even for just a moment.

Halloween in a week! Any plans?

I'm stuck at a big party college and am too busy to make a costume, so I'll probably just make a cute dinner & eat discounted candy :-) If anyone has a favorite Halloween/autumn movie or show I'd loove to hear some opinions...
It's barely fall here so it's way harder to get in the mood- my sister's up visiting my hometown in the Northeast for the week and I'm crazy jealous :'(

I'm a bit jealous of the big Halloween party, it was a few years since we had one now and that circle of people kind of split since then so it's never happening again in that constellation. Good memories...

If someone asks why you did not dress up, what if you convince them that you are a doppelganger that shapeshifts into the people they just consumed, confess vague hints of your dark nature and you will fit in with the crowd... And make a weird move that takes you out of normal character, a little glitch of the facade. How about that haha?
I know it's unsolicited advice, I just felt a bit of nervousness going without dress code confidence and played with it..
I hope you will have a good evening and please savour it along with the cute food and discount candy! ;)

I'm going to have an art exhibition in the gallery and after that a movie night with friends.
We are going to watch some old horrors: Grave encounters 1 and 2 this time.

They are pretty good and less known movies, Everyone I know that have seen them likes them.
They are probably available out there on the torrent sites or even streamable.

I'm sorry it's a hard time.
That was an abrupt ending, just after her birthday. What ended it like that?
What you felt with her sounds beautiful and real, meaningful. Remember that is still you, it does not leave you.
Take care anon!
